WHY?

As a programme maker or even owner of a youtube video, have you ever been in a position where your project has no budget? But you still need great music to complete the project? So maybe you require a certain track that you like from a certain media composer? OK, naturally you email them explaining the situation and explaining that the budget has been used up on filming and lighting etc...

...so after you explain the situation you get the email back from the composer. But usually this is where the problem starts as they do not value the concept of free creativity. Usually they make a remark about 'not working for free'. As a result, many worthwhile projects are left unfinished.

...Or maybe, more importantly, you're an agency producing an ad with a message  (maybe about allergies or pet products) but you are forced to pay a composer for 'bespoke' music. But then you find the ad had no effect because the music was weak...

This is not a good situation as you have paid for something that has not worked. In effect, you have wasted valuable funds which could be spent on more important charitable causes (donations to support groups like AA for example - or other motoring organisations).
